LAUNCH OF BIOMOLECULAR TARGET DRUGS:
MERCURIO MISURA's ONCO-TELE-WEB SYSTEM


Cancer diagnosis requires the Oncologist to carry out a molecular diagnostic test on a tissue taken by an Anatomist-Pathologist, who makes use of a specialized laboratory: the results allow him the most appropriate therapeutic choice, but for the doctor and for the patient it is a "Via crucis" that requires time and travel.

Solution: the close collaboration between Mercurio Misura, the Pharmaceutical Company, and an IT Company has generated the Onco-Tele-Web system that allows immediate interaction between Doctor, Patient, Laboratory and Pharmaceutical Company, solving communication problems and allowing logistics operations and all the confidentiality that this situation requires.

Results: 945 Pathologists (including 745 Pathological analysts), 1027 Oncologists and 31 Molecular Biology Laboratories enrolled in the System.
